Anuka Sethi is an India-born, Dubai-raised, and New York City-based actor whose work is shaped by her identity as a Third Culture Kid. Drawing from her multicultural background, she hopes to bring nuance and authenticity to performances that centre underrepresented voices, particularly within South Asian narratives on stage and screen.
Anuka is currently the Artist in Residence at Live & In Color, where she contributes to the company’s full season through performance, artistic development, and creative collaboration.
Recent acting credits include The Thousand And One Nights(The Club at La MaMa/directed by Ghina Fawaz) Alexandria (Pop Up! Productions/Dixon Place),The Wolves (SoHo Playhouse), Sightings (Philipstown Depot Theatre, directed by Traci Mariano), Love Around the Block (written by Dave Malloy), and the award-winning short film Hide & Seek (streaming on TasveerTV).
Anuka is a proud alum of Nine Muses Lab, where she developed new work under the mentorship of founder Bryce Dallas Howard. BFA (with Hons) from NYU Tisch School of the Arts.
